Projects, Timesheets and Expense Management

If correct management of Projects the recording of Timesheets and associated project expenses is an integral part of your business. Brookstone Technologies has designed the Projects & Timesheets Management Integration/Extension Module (“Projects”) to be flexible, comprehensive in its capabilities, and completely integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Available for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4 (MSCRM 4) and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3 (MSCRM 3).

As with all Microsoft CRM extension modules, the Projects Module delivers rapid "time to value". It is an enterprise-wide timekeeping system designed to leverage the power of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Projects are fully customizable to allow you to establish a Time Framework with multiple levels, and users are presented with only the information they require to complete their timekeeping tasks.

The process of recording time is quick and simple: Users create Timesheets, and the time recorded for that day so far is displayed. The Timesheet can then be saved as a draft and then submitted subsequently for approval.

Once Timesheets have been approved, the Projects, Sub-Projects, and Tasks to which they belong to are updated with the relevant times. Approved Timesheets are then available for reporting. A single Project can have a master Project record, with as many Sub-Projects as required, while each Sub-Project can have as many Tasks as necessary.

In keeping with native CRM activities tracking, Tasks can be created on their own without the need for a Sub-Project or Project. This enables the tracking and recording of smaller, one-off jobs.
